1.Who we are

Shefy is a service published and operated by Shefa Digital (Deborah Cohen), a sole proprietorship under Israeli law ("עוסק פטור" / Essek Patur), registered under business number 329856173, with its address at HaAlon 5, Hadera, Israel. Shefa Digital is not a limited liability company; throughout these Terms, "Shefa Digital", "Shefy" and "we" refer to this operator. The publisher's full legal identity is also available in our Legal Notice.

2.Acceptance of these Terms

By creating a Shefy account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Shefy.

3.Eligibility

Shefy is intended for professional use: independent workers, freelancers, small businesses and their staff or accountants. You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract and, where applicable, be duly authorized to represent the business for which you create an account.

4.Description of the service

Shefy is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product that provides, among other things, client management (CRM), quote and invoice creation, appointment scheduling, payment recording, electronic invoicing through approved third-party platforms where applicable, messaging (email, SMS, WhatsApp), AI-assisted features, and document import with automatic recognition (OCR). The features described below may change, be added to, modified, or removed over time, depending on country, industry, or the plan you have subscribed to.

5.Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. If you invite team members, you remain responsible for their use of the service within the permissions you grant them.

6.Accuracy of the data you enter

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of the data you enter or import into Shefy — including data about your business, your clients, your quotes, invoices, appointments and payments. Shefy does not verify the accuracy of this data and cannot be held liable for the consequences of incorrect data you have entered or imported.

7.Quotes, invoices and tax information

Shefy lets you generate quotes and invoices from the information you provide, including your tax information (VAT number, VAT regime, and legal notices applicable to your country and activity). You are responsible for verifying that these documents comply with the legal and tax obligations applicable to you before sending them to your clients.

8.Electronic invoicing

For users subject to electronic invoicing obligations (notably in France), Shefy may connect to one or more approved third-party dematerialization platforms to transmit your invoices in accordance with the applicable rules. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information transmitted through these platforms. Shefy does not replace a chartered accountant and does not, on its own, guarantee your compliance with all of your tax obligations — see also section 21.

9.Payments

Shefy lets you record payments you receive from your own clients (bank transfer, check, cash, or any other means). Where online payment collection features are offered, they are provided by third-party payment service providers (PSPs); Shefy is not itself a regulated payment or e-money institution and does not, at any point, hold your clients' funds on your behalf. The availability and terms of these features may vary by country and plan.

Similarly, your own Shefy subscription (see section 14) is billed through a third-party payment/billing provider, which may appear as an intermediary on your bank statement or receipt.

10.Third-party providers

Shefy relies on third-party providers for some or all of hosting, storage, email and message delivery (SMS/WhatsApp), AI-assisted processing and, where applicable, electronic invoicing and payments. The use of these providers is necessary for the service to function; the list of providers may change over time. See our Privacy Policy for the categories of sub-processors used for your personal data.

11.Messaging (email, SMS, WhatsApp)

When you use Shefy's messaging features to communicate with your clients (appointment confirmations, reminders, sending quotes/invoices), you are responsible for complying with the rules applicable to this type of communication (recipient consent, anti-spam regulations, permitted sending hours where applicable). These messages are delivered through third-party email and SMS/WhatsApp providers.

12.AI-assisted features

Some Shefy features use artificial intelligence to offer you suggestions (for example, during initial setup of your catalogue, appointments, or document import). These suggestions may be inaccurate or unsuited to your situation; it is your responsibility to review and validate them before use. Unless you explicitly confirm an action, the AI does not automatically create or submit any tax entry, invoice, or legally significant document.

13.Document import and OCR

Shefy offers document import and automatic recognition (OCR) features (for example, for supplier invoices). Automatically extracted data may contain errors and must be reviewed before confirmation. You remain responsible for the documents you import and for how they are used within the service.

14.Subscription, plans and billing

Access to Shefy requires a paid subscription, the features, quotas, and pricing of which are described on our website or in your account area at the time of subscribing. Pricing may change; we will communicate any material change to you in advance, to the extent reasonably possible. Your subscription renews on the billing cycle you selected, unless you cancel before the end of the current period.

15.Trial period

Shefy may offer a free trial period, the duration and terms of which are specified at sign-up. At the end of this period, and unless stated otherwise at sign-up, access to the service may be limited or suspended until a paid subscription is taken out.

16.Payment failure and suspension

If a payment for your subscription fails, we may notify you and grant you a reasonable period to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved, access to all or part of the service may be suspended; this does not constitute a termination nor does it waive the amounts owed.

For professional customers subject to French law, late-payment penalties may apply in accordance with the applicable legal and contractual provisions. Where required by Article L. 441-10 of the French Commercial Code, a fixed recovery-cost indemnity of €40 may also be due. This indemnity never applies to consumers or to customers acting outside a professional capacity.

17.Acceptable use

You agree to use Shefy for its intended purpose — the administrative and commercial management of your professional activity — and in compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to you.

18.Prohibited activities

You may not, among other things: attempt to access other users' systems or data without authorization; disrupt the operation of the service (including through abusive automated means); use Shefy for fraudulent purposes, including to create tax or commercial documents you know to be inaccurate; circumvent the service's security measures or technical limits; or use the messaging features to send unsolicited communications in violation of applicable regulations.

19.Intellectual property

The Shefy software, its structure, design and components (excluding the data you enter into it) are the property of Shefa Digital or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You retain all rights to the data you enter into Shefy; we only use it to provide you with the service and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

20.Availability and maintenance

We strive to keep Shefy available and functional, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. Maintenance operations, updates, or unforeseen incidents may cause temporary interruptions to the service.

21.No legal, tax or accounting advice

Shefy is a software tool; it does not constitute legal, tax, or accounting advice, and does not replace the involvement of a qualified professional (chartered accountant, lawyer, tax advisor). Features related to VAT, electronic invoicing, or AI-generated suggestions are assistive tools and cannot make us liable as though we were providing professional advice.

22.Your legal and tax compliance responsibility

It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of Shefy, and the documents you produce or transmit through the service, comply with all legal, tax and regulatory obligations applicable to you in your country and industry.

23.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Shefa Digital's liability arising from your use of Shefy is limited to direct and foreseeable damages, and shall not exceed the amounts you actually paid for your subscription over the preceding twelve months. This limitation does not apply where applicable law prohibits it, in particular in the case of gross or intentional misconduct, and does not restrict any mandatory rights you have as a consumer or business under the law applicable to you.

24.Termination and account closure

You may cancel your subscription and request the closure of your account at any time from your account area or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a material breach of these Terms, in particular fraudulent use or a prolonged unpaid balance following notice.

25.Data export and retention at closure

Upon closure of your account, you may request an export of your data in a common format. We retain certain data beyond closure only to the extent necessary to comply with our own legal obligations (in particular accounting and tax obligations) or to defend our rights, and we then delete or anonymize it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

26.Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms, in particular to reflect changes to the service, applicable regulations, or our providers. We will communicate any material change to you by a reasonable means (in-service notification or email) before it takes effect. Continued use of Shefy after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

27.Governing law, jurisdiction and contact

These Terms are governed, on a supplementary basis and to the extent permitted by law, by the law of the State of Israel, where Shefa Digital is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or business protections you may benefit from in your country of residence or establishment, which remain applicable where required by law. For any question about these Terms, you can contact us at contact@shefyone.com, or see our Legal Notice for the publisher's full legal identity (Shefa Digital, Deborah Cohen, business number 329856173, HaAlon 5, Hadera, Israel).
